SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS ( STI) MAY BE PRESENT EVEN IF NO SPECIFIC SYMPTOM IS APPARENT. WHEN SYMPTOMS ARE PRESENT THEY MAY INCLUDE URINARY BURNING, GENITAL DISCHARGE, GENITAL ULCERS AND RASHES. SEXUALLY ACTIVE AND SPECIALLY THOSE WITH HIGH RISK ACTIVITY ARE RECOMMENDED TO PERFORM STI TESTING PERIODICALLY.
THIS SAMPLE CAN BE TAKEN EITHER BY A URINE SAMPLE OR BY GENITAL SWAB.
